DreamWorking

Dreams are mirrors--

or are they windows... journeys through other realms... or

Letters waiting to be read

or a book to be devoured... a series to follow--or to direct. In all cases, they are

A source of inspiration

The insight they (could) bring is boundless

Just like each dreamer is different, each dream requires a different approach. Some dreams are purely personal, others are for the collective, some are prophetic, while others are visitations from the deceased, animal alleys, or other beings, and some might be warnings...things to pay attention to/to avoid or seek. There are also dreams that are day-residue or digesting-7dinner or the film you watched just before sleep against all sense -- it's good to recognise these. Dreams are often SYMBOLIC, but sometimes, they're as literal as 'eat this or that. Discretion is key in dreamwork. A sense of play/humour is important, and a curiosity- above all.

It is my intention to support you in understanding your dreams (and nightmares), be empowered by their messages and creatively express them & yourself - towards harmony and balance

Utilising projective dream-work, symbolic/archetypal investigation, embodiment and dance, theater constellation, active dream-reentry, shamanic techniques, and nature - consultation.

DREAMS

belong to the imaginal realm, where there are no limits and where it's safe to explore. Since the beginning of time and across traditions, healers, shamans and everyday-people have travelled in the dream realm for healing purposes, divination and insight. Great art could be created from dreams.

Dreamwork

as a practice is deep psycho-spiritual exploration and leads to growth/evolution. Be prepared however, for on this journey, you don't only meet your guides and protectors, you don't just get to fly and shape-shift... you also meet your demons. If you don't run away, you will recognise them as important teachers, overcome fears and (dare-I-say) transform.... for 'dreams always come in the service of health and wholeness.' as Jeremy Taylor always said, a great man who I've had the privilege of learning from, as well as learning / working with other DreamPioneers like Fariba Bogzaran, Meredith Sabini, and Kelly Bulkeley. Another teacher that had a great influence on my approach - though she was not officially 'dreams' - is Vernice Solimar (Consciousness Studies). During my BA in Psychology, it was Phyllis Wright who influenced my thoughts and way of doing/being (Art: Multi Media.) As a child, my father and I shared dreams with each other and we tried to decipher them...

it started young.  I won't bore you with the first dream or first nightmare, and the magical ways they unfolded in waking... Let's just say I eventually ended up specialising in Dreams (Master in Consciousness Studies.) I've researched (and continue to) and wrote a few academic articles (now I write mostly creatively). I started  'embodying dreams' and dancing them - which was the beginning of my career as a performing artist. I have been giving workshops for over a decade, from the Dream Institute in California, to Ruigoord -Amsterdam, Hof Van Axen -Drenthe, Maskan Aat -Limburg, and the International Association for the Study of Dreams. I love working with people on their dreams! It's such a privilege - and o so much fun.

Lana supports you with her enormous knowledge, but also with her creative mind and listening ear, to penetrate deeper into your dreams and to talk to them. She creates a safe, warm environment in which you can be yourself. Thanks to Lana, I now see my dreams as old friends who know me better than I know myself, and who I’d like to spend more time with because they’re such good company.

What the dream wekend brought me was beyond expectations. The deeper layers in my dreams became more and more visible and gave more and more insight into what my soul wants to tell me. Very special to start working with the dreams in different ways and  with a lot of respect. Lana is a beautiful and expressive woman who inspires and pampers her guests. The weekend was about dreams, but it also felt like a dream. A fairytale environment, a special energy and beautiful people. I would like to come back again.
