Aat is an suffix that renders nouns plural feminine (arabic). It is not in exclusion of the masculine. Think of it as the bee hive.

Lana Nasser (Bint Ibrahim)

Writer, performer, voice artist, and dreamworker. A fellaha eco-feminist, with a background in psychology and Consciousness Studies, she leads workshops and instigates indivdual and group process. Dancing between languages and across genres, she is often found barefoot in the woods or flying in imagination. Palestinian-Jordanian, born and raised in Amman, she spent many years across the United States before setting her roots in a forest in the south of the Netherlands. She is an animal lover, gardener, homesteader and beeperson.

Once called a (d)jinn expert - she is - in short, a shapeshifting storyteller.
In essence - she is a simple fellaha.
