Lana Nasser (Bint Ibrahim)
Writer * Performer * Dreamweaver
An Ecofeminist shapeshigting storyteller
Dancing between languages and across genres, her writing has been published in three languages, and her artistic work spans theatre, site-specific performance and voice.
For over twenty years, she has guided workshops in creative self-expression and psychospiritual exploration—across colleges and conferences, refugee camps and prisons—holding spaces where story, body, and imagination become tools for transformation.
At the heart of her practice is dreamwork: a process of dream-synthesis and ritual performance that invites dialogue with the imaginal. Through theater, movement/embodiment, active imagination, and elemental materials/nature wisdom, she guides individuals and groups in embodying their dreams and nightmates—revealing insight, deepening relationship to psyche and spirit.
An ecofeminist and (d)jinn scholar with a background in psychology and Consciousness Studies, her work bridges myth, land, and the unseen. The Arabic dictionary and mother nature are of her greatest inspirators.
A Palestinian-Jordanian born and raised in Amman, she spent many years across the United States before rooting herself in a forest in the south of the Netherlands.
In her essence, she is a fellaha—a keeper of the land. A homesteader and permaculturist, tending garden, animals, and bees (or rather, being kept by them.)
Mission:
To harmonise with self, other and nature.
To be a vessel of light ... an instigator of peace
* Aat creations morphed from Aat Network (2009 -2013) a women's artist collective in Jordan that produced a successful International Women's day festival, with performances, installations, and community workshops.
Here, posters from the archives of that special time. Aat carries on.
